US Energy caught up with North Dakota Legendary farmer and rancher, Gabe Brown, from Bismarck, North Dakota. Gabe tells his story about how he went from the old industrial, commercialized model of farming and ranching to the regenerative model. He takes us through his book, Dirt to Soil:

The six principles of soil health are:

2. Limited disturbance. Limit mechanical, chemical, and physical disturbance of soil.
3. Armor.
4. Diversity.
5. Living roots.
6. Integrated animals.

This episode features Executive Director, Megan Laudenschlager, with Strengthen ND a leading non-profit focused on community development. Strengthen ND has been building non-profit and rural capacity since their inception in 2015.
