    Annette Homann is a versatile musician from Hanover, active as a violinist, violist, composer, singer, and pianist. Her violin playing is described as "sparkling, energetic, confident, and joyful." She began violin lessons at the age of six and completed her studies at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She earned her Master's degree in Violin Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York in 2006.

    From 2008 to 2011, she toured worldwide with the fiddle show Barrage, playing over 200 shows a year. After her time with Barrage, she continued her career as a freelance musician in New York City, where she performed in renowned concert halls such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

    Since returning to Europe in 2016, she has performed with renowned artists such as Michael Bublé , Alex Christensen , Helene Fischer , Howard Carpendale , Bell Book & Candle , Senna Gammour , Herzchen , and many more. In 2020, she released her classical crossover album "Violin Sentiments" and developed her own solo show, "Annette's String Jumps," from it. Alongside her performing career, she is also a dedicated teacher and was a lecturer at the Al Farabi Music Academy in Berlin from 2016 to 2020.

  • Kristina Malcolm - Metalsmith, Educator and Writer

    Kristina Malcolm is an award-winning metalsmith, educator, writer, and longtime studio artist based in Northeast Ohio. She holds a master’s degree in Fine Art: Craft with a focus in Jewelry, Metals, and Enameling from Kent State University and brings more than 30 years of experience in metalsmithing, sculpture, jewelry, and teaching.

    Since 2004, she has run her own jewelry and metalsmithing business, creating one-of-a-kind work and teaching students through universities, craft schools, and community programs. Her current research, Healing Hands, explores the connection between making, movement, play, and wellbeing, and how hands-on creative practice can support confidence, emotional regulation, and connection.

    In addition to teaching studio-based craft, Kristina also teaches professional writing workshops that help artists communicate clearly about their work, their process, and their purpose. She is also active in civic life as a poll election official and a member of the League of Women Voters. Kristina is especially passionate about helping people discover that creativity is not about perfection—it is about curiosity, resilience, and the courage to keep making.
