In this episode of Bandwagon Nerds, we take a look at a variety of exciting new trailers, including the return of The Muppet Show, the fan-made film Beam Me Up Sulu, and the highly anticipated Invincible Season 4. But we did not stop there, as we took a look at the new Star Wars animated series Maul: Shadow Lord, as well as the first trailer for the highly anticipated reboot of Masters of the Universe. DC has found its writer for Batman: The Brave & The Bold in Christina Hodson, and opinions are a bit split on this. Additionally, the ongoing saga of Warner Brothers' acquisition by Netflix is explored, highlighting the complexities of the entertainment industry and Paramount's refusal to just go away, despite overwhelming evidence that WB and its shareholders are just not interested. The conversation shifts to the Oscars, focusing on Sinners record-breaking number of nominations. Finally, Battle Royale Madness continues with epic battles in the World Comics bracket, featuring a variety of comics and characters, setting the stage for exciting matchups ahead.

This week's BWN was live again and very lively. The guys took a look at new trailers for Paul McCartney: Band on the Run, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2, and The Bluff. There is then an extended conversation about the latest Avengers: Doomsday trailer featuring the Wakandans and the Fantastic Four, and whether this trailer should have been released a week earlier. In News Around the Nerdosphere, the fallout from the Netflix/WB situation continues, with A24 indicating it will remain on HBO Max and Netflix promising it will continue to allow WB movies a 45-day theatrical window. The biggest news of the week, though, relates to our favorite galaxy far, far, away. Kathleen Kennedy confirmed she is leaving the franchise, and Dave Filoni will be taking the reins. Does this represent a new hope for Star Wars fans worldwide? All that plus the opening round of the Video Game bracket for Battle Royal Madness gets decided, and the upset bug has hit early!
