About this listen
Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Kindness is easy when people are kind to us. But what about when they’re not?
Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
This verse reminds us that kindness isn’t based on how others treat us—it’s based on how God has treated us.
God shows us kindness even when we don’t deserve it. He forgives us, shows compassion, and continues to love us. That’s the example we’re called to follow.
Choosing kindness doesn’t mean ignoring hurt or pretending everything is fine. It means responding with grace instead of anger, patience instead of revenge, and forgiveness instead of bitterness.
Kindness may feel small, but it has the power to change conversations, relationships, and even hearts.
We choose kindness because God first showed kindness to us.
