The Cleveland Guardians Spring Training is officially under way and we've already got a lot to talk about. The big news is the signing of power hitting 1st baseman Rhys Hoskins and how that affects the 1st base competition. We'll look at who's been swinging a hot bat to start, how the bullpen competition is shaping up, and get excited for the World Baseball Classic. I'll also give you my MVP for the week.

The Cleveland Guardians have extended José Ramírez, giving him a contract that will keep him with the Guardians for the theoretical rest of his career. We will celebrate, look at J-Ram's Hall of Fame resume, could he make the 300-300 club or even the 400-400 club, where he stands in all time MVP shares, and where he is in the Cleveland franchise record books. We will take a lot of your emails and get your thoughts in, and then end with a little rant about not making any moves outside of the bullpen heading in to the 2026 season (could trade deadline moves be coming down the line).

As the Cleveland Guardians 2025-2026 off season rolls on it's becoming clear that we are going to be leaning heavily on the rookies to be major contributors offensively, so let's look at the big 3 names that the front office is counting on to bloom this 2026 season in George Valera, Chase DeLauter, and CJ Kayfus. We'll discuss their scouting reports and what my hopes are for them at the MLB level. We'll also talk about the small nuggests of Guardians news that have happened including Kwan's Arbitration agreement, some more pitching names added to the mix, and the international free agents class.

The 2025-2026 Cleveland Guardians offseason has passed one of its milestones, the winter meetings. On this episode we will discuss the additions the Guards have made to the bullpen including free agents and through the Rule 5 Draft, finding ABs for all these left handed hitters and my plea to the Guardians to please find a proven RHH Outfielder to balance things out, how other teams attack the off-season vs how slow the Guards move, and wrapping up the 2025 pitching staff which had a lot of good but was missing that great (I'm talking WAR numbers).

The 2025-2026 Cleveland Guardians offseason is in full swing and there is a lot of news to talk about.
