• the long way home.
    Apr 12 2026

Some paths don't look like progress...until you're far enough along to see what they were building.

In this episode, I'm sharing my full origin story for the first time in full context. From dropping out of college and figuring out my next move from my mom's couch, to my dad handing me a one-way train ticket to New York City to chase a dream I couldn't fully name yet. I built a life there... a brand, an identity, a version of success that made sense on the outside. But something was shifting on the inside.

Then I lost my job. No warning, no explanation. And the very next morning, I walked into a bookstore and found the only autographed copy of a book on prayer, and that moment changed everything.

This episode is about what happened after. The surrender. The rebuilding. The full circle moment of being back at my mom's house...but this time with clarity, peace, and purpose instead of confusion. What once felt like being stuck now feels like covering, support, and alignment for me and my son Tyler.

Nothing was wasted. The detours, the delays, the seasons that felt like setbacks — they were all part of it. And if you're in the middle of something that doesn't make sense yet, this one's for you.

You're not behind. You just might be in the middle of your own long way home. And eventually you'll realize...you were never lost. You were being led.

  • broken beyond repair?
    Mar 8 2026

Have you ever made a mistake and immediately felt the urge to fix it, hide it, or carry the weight of it on your own?

In this episode of Closed for Maintenance, Natasha reflects on a small moment that turned into a powerful reminder about grace, surrender, and the way we often try to repair things in our lives without bringing them to God first.

Sometimes the very things we worry have ruined everything are the same things God is inviting us to place back in His hands.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve made a mess of something, or like there are parts of your life that need repair, this conversation is a gentle reminder that nothing is beyond restoration in God’s hands.

  • breathe again.
    Feb 22 2026

In this deeply personal episode, Natasha reflects on what it means to learn how to live again after years of survival mode.

Growing up, she watched her parents work hard to provide but rarely slow down to enjoy life…a pattern she later realized she had quietly repeated in her own adulthood. At 37, a quiet realization changed everything: if she didn’t learn how to live now, she might spend her entire life just getting through it.

This episode is an honest conversation about breaking generational survival patterns, rediscovering joy that isn’t tied to circumstances, and learning how to stop postponing your life for a future that may never feel “ready.”

Natasha shares the practical ways she’s learning to live again in real time…from choosing joy rooted in God, to creating space for everyday living instead of periodic escape, to making intentional choices even when money, timing, or life feels uncertain.

If you’ve been holding your breath waiting for things to settle before you allow yourself to live… this episode is your permission to exhale.

  • get back up...again.
    Feb 8 2026

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t falling down...it’s believing you’re allowed to get back up.

In the Season 3 premiere, I’m talking honestly about what it looks like to lose momentum, feel out of alignment, and wrestle with the tension between faith, creativity, and obedience. There was a season where I was still consuming God’s Word, but not fully living it out, and the result was confusion, noise, and a lack of clarity in my creative life.

This conversation is about recognizing where compromise sneaks in, how distraction can dilute direction, and what happens when you choose obedience even when it’s uncomfortable. On the other side of that decision, I found clarity again, not just creatively, but spiritually.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, discouraged, or unsure how to move forward after a setback, this episode is a reminder that falling isn’t the end of the story. You’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to realign. And you’re allowed to get back up again.

Closed for Maintenance is a space for honest conversations about faith, rebuilding, and learning how to live with intention...one episode at a time.

If this episode resonates, consider subscribing, leaving a review, or sharing it with someone who needs the reminder today.

    Feb 3 2026

For a long time, I've been closed for maintenance.

    Not because I disappeared.

    Not because I didn't care.

But because life demanded more from me than I had language for.

Season 3 of Closed for Maintenance explores what happens during and after survival- when you're still standing, but learning how to dream again.

This season isn't about having a five year plan. It's about rebuilding in real time.

    Moving forward without clarity.

About faith, fear, love and becoming...slowly.

If you're in an in between space in your life...

If you're figuring things out later than you expected...

If you're learning how to hope again...

    You're not alone here.

    New episodes coming soon.

Welcome to Season 3 of Closed for Maintenance!

  • interlude: never alone
    Sep 21 2025

In this "interlude" between Seasons 2 and 3 of the podcast, Natasha pops in to share her heart about how God's Word helped her dismantle the enemy's lie that she was in fact not alone at a time that felt extremely lonely.

    Scriptures Referenced:

    Deuteronomy 31:8

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”- ESV

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”- NLT

    Psalm 139:7-12

“Where shall I go from your Spirit?

Or where shall I flee from your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, you are there!

If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!

If I take my wings in the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night, even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.”- ESV

“I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

    If I go up to heaven, you are there;

If I go down to the grave, you are there.

If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.

I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night- but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.”- NLT

  • remain.
    Apr 13 2025

In the Season Two finale, Natasha shares a timely reminder for anyone feeling stretched thin between purpose and performance: the fruit God desires in your life doesn’t come from hustle...it comes from abiding.

Through scripture, personal conviction, and honest reflection, she unpacks how easy it is to drift from the Vine while doing things for God, and how critical it is to return to simply being with Him.

Rooted in John 15 and 1 Corinthians 10:31 & 33, this episode is an invitation to check your posture, reassess your platform, and make sure the main "thing" Jesus is still the main thing.

Whether you’re in ministry, media, or just trying to live this walk out faithfully, this one’s for you.

  • the right pour.
    Mar 30 2025

What you pour in is what will eventually overflow. In this episode, Natasha shares a personal moment that sparked reflection on how the things we consume...spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, shape the way we live, respond, and grow.

Using a powerful cup analogy, she breaks down how our daily inputs (whether it’s scripture, music, podcasts, or even TikToks) affect our peace, clarity, and obedience to God. From caffeine to culture, she explores how we often mix things that were never meant to be blended...and how even a “little bit” of the wrong influence can contaminate our spiritual walk.
