  • Miami's gentrified & the culture shifted... Now what?!
    Sep 12 2025

Welcome to our most unhinged, off script ep. yet! On this episode we fasten our seatbelts and go for a ride with Mikey Reyes, a marketing savant and essential member of Los Pichy Boys.

We kick things off with Mikeys' radio days and what it takes to be "the bad guy" and how that prepared him to be a part of Somos Los Pichy Boys Podcast. A group of creators that have amassed hundreds of episodes and a cult like following in the millions across multiple platforms. We discuss how important consistency comes into the equation to hit those numbers. Mikey goes on to share insights about creativity, adaptation, the evolution of marketing, and states "the day you're not struggling is the day you're dead."

The conversation shifts into Miami's evolving culture and the breathtaking gentrification that's taken place in the past few decades. "You can't stop progress", he says. Between the thought provoking conversation, we explore wines from different regions, including a South African Cabernet Sauvignon that had the boys reminiscing on the finer things. And jabs were thrown at big name spirits, "if you're drinking Patron, you're drinking sh!t tequila."

Ready for this unfiltered conversation? Then pour yourself something nice and enjoy.
