This is the story of the day I was sent to The Ranch.

Sometimes there are crystal clear moments, inflection points, where it's obvious and undeniable that nothing will ever be the same. My eight months living in New Mexico, at the San Cristobal Ranch Academy - a program for 'troubled teens' - was my personal Crisis: there was a Jason before, and a Jason after, and they were not the same.

The morning I was sent away is etched into my memory, and the experience has given me a unique perspective on how fragile the ice every one of us is living on top of actually is.

This story was inspired by an early episode of The Slice, "He Can't Have Me," where I was propositioned by several different people looking to convert and take me into Jesus' loving arms.

In this one, a newly married Ranchhand was spending some quality time with his blushing bride in Atlantic City, when they were approached by another couple, seemingly looking to bond over his cross necklace.

To get me acclimated to the idea, we've taken two rescue dogs out on day trips to very different results. Can a boy who grew up scared of dogs grow to love them?

We're wrapping up wrestling road trip week here on The Slice with a story from old school era Ring of Honor, courtesy of former wrestler and current owner and promoter of FIGHTT Pro Wrestling, ERNIE OSIRIS.

It's an overnight odyssey from Long Island, NY to Dayton, Ohio as Ernie, Rhett Titus, and Grizzly Redwood try their best to get the lighting truck to the show. It's a night filled with breakdowns, crash outs, and unlicensed drivers; from police to promoters, no one is making it easy on the ring crew. Can the boys make it to the building in time?
