    I'M BURNED THE F$%& OUT!

When I opened my vintage shop back in 2018 I knew that it was going to be a long and tiring road to get my shop to where I wanted it to go.
Flash forward to 2024 my shop has changed, but the way I interact with it hasn't.

In today's episode, I'll talk about my struggle with burnout after working 6-7 days a week for 5 years, in my vintage shop. The feeling of shame when you have to admit to yourself that you CAN'T do it all and need to step back.

This is a mental health issue that faces so many people across all walks of life and industries!
Listen in to find out what I've done to help preserve my sanity and my business!

  • #31-VINTAGE VERSUS THRIFT: What's the Difference & Why Does It Matter?
    Mar 12 2024

    Send us a text

    Hello 2024!

I'm BACK and ready to talk about all the changes I've made since my last episode!

In today's episode, I'll be delving into one of the biggest confusions surrounding my vintage shop:
"Are you a thrift store or a vintage store?"
What does it mean to be a "vintage store" or a "thrift store"?
What's the difference between vintage and thrift, but more importantly, why does it matter?
    Let's dig in!

Owning a vintage shop is hard, but in the year 2023 it's even harder!

We did things a little differently this year and had to say goodbye to what we're expected to do as a micro-business.
