 Two 30-something sisters dissect everything about their unconventional upbringings. Hajar J. Woodland is a singer and writer who rarely shies away from expressing herself. Growing up, her older sister Raahil was far more guarded with her feelings and opinions. Both were hardworking and academic and both started wearing the hijab as young girls raised in a strict, but unconventional Muslim household. Now in their thirties and living in London, Raahil and Hajar talk about the impact of those early years on their adult lives. 'Conversations with My Sister' is Hajar's attempt to bring her older sister's voice to life as each episode she takes one item and asks Raahil what memories and emotions it evokes. This episode is a little less 'conversation with my sister', a little more 'talking at my sister for long periods of time'. When she does speak however, it's a welcome break.
