Chalene says "My father became really irate slapping me 10-15 times knocking me down. Slapping me another 10 times knocking me down and then a third time and then finally my mom said that is enough."

Chalene shares about growing up under a strict, disciplinarian father. This deeply shaped her personality and taught her to be silent about abuse happening in their home. Despite the darkness she explains that God was always close to her. She shares several discoveries and lessons that brought her to healing and forgiveness.

Judy explains "I basically had two dementia patients. And my dad was very different from my mom because he would run, he would flee the house and I'd have to chase him down."

Judy describes the helplessness of watching her mother's confusion grow and not knowing how to help her. She recalls the friction with her father as she became their full-time caregiver. Now, with both her parents gone, Judy reflects on this hard season of her life.

Kim says "over that year we would visit and I found myself falling for him. I felt like I met the Apostle Paul"

Kim married her first husband while he was still in prison. She saw God open doors for his early release and ministry training. Their marriage faced impossible battles with relapse, infidelity, separation and finally divorce. Kim shares how she clung to God as she faced an unknown future.

Janet shares “When the worst tragedy of all hit us we knew that what we had believed and preached is the only thing that got us through.”

In Janet’s life she experienced many miracles, but she also lived through tragedy. Looking at God’s faithfulness in the miracles helped her see God’s goodness even when life brought the heartbreak of losing her daughter to cancer.

Sherry says “Everything I’ve gone through is all about God, if God would have wanted to take me he would have taken me a year ago.”

Sherry was diagnosed with Stage 3 Uterine Cancer and faced life-threatening complications after surgery, including an Ostomy and a prognosis of only three weeks to live. Refusing to accept a death sentence, she endured multiple surgeries and hospital stays while leaning fully on her faith. With a matter-of-fact trust in God’s Word, Sherry testifies to His presence, provision and the strength to keep waiting on Him for the next move.

Bill explains “The conviction came on me. God began to point out to me that hunting enjoyed too much of a priority in my life”

Bill’s story is both relatable and inspiring, reminding us that God cares how we spend our time and what we focus on. He shares how his passion for hunting cost him dearly, and how He used frustration and disappointment to lead him to true surrender. God wants to be our passion; He wants our hearts.

Speaking of her granddaughter Mary says “This little 3 year old who is now 11 might get to see her mommy’s arm get better after all these prayers.”

Glen and Mary share their journey as they come along side their daughter Katie, mother of two, who suffered a ischemic stroke at 32. As she learned to live with limited mobility, they talk about how God moved in the situation to provide amazing support for all of them. They reflect on the power of prayer, and God’s sustaining presence through this overwhelming season, trusting Him even in the waiting for healing.
