Mysterious Silver Spheres Spotted Over Promised Land, SC

Details of the Sighting: A witness in Promised Land, South Carolina, reported observing three small, silver, reflective spherical objects in the sky northwest of their location. The objects appeared at an elevation angle of 45° and were estimated to be at least 10 miles away. Each sphere was described as approximately the size of a car.

The spheres moved at an estimated speed of 700 knots and performed rapid, orbital maneuvers around each other. They briefly disappeared, reappeared with two additional spheres, and then vanished beyond the horizon. The entire event lasted approximately one minute.

Comparison with AircraftThe witness observed a commercial airplane on the opposite side of the sky during the sighting and verified its altitude to be approximately 40,000 feet and speed at 500 knots using a flight tracker website. The spheres were described as faster and more maneuverable than the airplane.

Possible ExplanationsThe reflective nature, speed, and complex movement patterns of the objects led the observer to consider and question whether they could have been birds. However, no definitive explanation has been determined at this time.

This report adds to ongoing observations of unidentified aerial phenomena and may contribute to further investigation.
