About this listen

UPDATE: Crack Tales podcast is suspended until further notice. I'm focusing on writing Crack Tales, the memoir. Huge thanks to the listeners and volunteers! Crack Tales is the life story of a man who spent 10 years addicted to crack cocaine. Family, friends, bosses and coworkers lived through it with him - and all survived to tell the story.© 2023 Crack Tales Hygiene & Healthy Living Psychology Psychology & Mental Health Relationships Social Sciences

  • Episode 5: Kindred Spirits - Don't Walk Alone
    Apr 23 2022

I am a lucky man. In this episode I connect with a friend from high school who is a clinical psychologist and an all around amazing woman. We only knew each other for one year in high school, way back in 1976, but reconnected through Facebook and she was gracious enough to grant me this interview. It is full of insight and humanity, and love. Thanks friend! Enjoy Cracklins!

  • Episode 4: Rape
    Apr 5 2022

Hi listeners. Episode 4 describes a child sexual assault. It's rough. Heed this warning if you think it might be too much for you. And be sure, I am fine now, really.

The episode is not all made up of only the description of the rape. There are indeed many lighter moments as well.

    Un abrazo fuerte.

My father was a civil rights activist in Seattle in the 1960s. A lot of people didn't like it. I am proud of what he did and can only imagine what might have happened had he had more time.  Listen to the trailer and Episodes 1 and 2 first!
Episodes 0 and 0.1 are well worth listening to as well!
