• Russia's 2026 sunflower sowing season is advancing with the Southern Federal District leading at 51% of sowing completed, followed by the North Caucasus Federal District at 11% and the Central Federal District at 1%. Krasnodar territory has completed 44% of its sowing plan and the Kherson region stands at 45.5%. Sowing activity is expected to accelerate from late April through early May on favorable weather conditions.
