About this listen
November 24, 1971, and Dan Cooper sits onboard the Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 305, during a cold Thanksgiving Eve.
It is about 3pm and Cooper orders a bourbon and soda, paying in cash and while doing so, passes a note to the flight attendant.
The attendant casually puts the note in her pocket without reading the content suspecting it to be the phone number of a businessman of whom she has drawn attention.
Upon sighting she hasn’t read the note, Cooper politely states; “Miss. You’d better look at that note. I have a bomb” and opens his briefcase.
