• Episode 4 – the institutional perspective and looking beyond

    In this final episode, we meet two lecturers to talk about the structures at their universities and how the DITTS materials can be implemented into teaching. Prof Luciane Sturm from the University of Passo Fundo (Brazil) and Sanet Carow from the University of South Africa (South Africa) both have been involved in the DITTS project. Sanet supported the development of the teaching materials and Luciane was part of the South-South-Exchange organization team in Brazil. In this episode, both share insights into the internal structure of the two universities, how the DITTS materials can be implemented into teaching, and what we can learn from the process of implementation to grow the impact of the materials beyond the end of the project.

  • Episode 3 - the student perspective

    In this episode, we hear two students talking about their experiences and learnings from participating in the DITTS project. Pedro Henrique Carretta Diniz from the University of Passo Fundo (Brazil) and Lindokuhle Denis Sibiya from the University of South Africa (South Africa) both took part in the project's so-called South-South-Exchange that aims at fostering better understanding and cooperation between the countries from the global south. Pedro joined the Brazilian team in flying to Pretoria, and Lindo visited Passo Fundo with the team from South Africa. In this episode, they both talk about how this affected their personal and professional life and what improvements it brought to our teaching materials.
