Today is Day 23 of my Rethinking Weight journey, and whew… this one is real. I did not feel like working out today. My body was tired, everything was hurting, and I had every reason to sit this one out - but I pressed start anyway.
This Intentional Tuesday treadmill workout is not about perfection. It is about showing up, taking one step at a time, and reminding myself that progress is still progress, even when it feels slow.
Walking on the treadmill is more than just movement. It helps strengthen the heart, supports endurance, burns calories, improves circulation, builds consistency, and gives the body a safe way to move forward. But it also helps the mind and emotions. Sometimes walking gives stress somewhere to go. Sometimes movement helps clear the mental clutter. Sometimes one step reminds you that you are not stuck.
