  • Episode 40: The Brutal Truth
    Feb 8 2022
Once again, my students were asked to utilize and repurpose online resources (audio from speeches and songs they could locate on YouTube), in order to ring these messages to a new generation, by mashing a civil rights inspired speech with any song(s) of their choosing, and to add words and/or phrases from the actual song that would enhance the overall message. Here, I will be sharing Representative John Lewis' 1963 "March on Washington" speech, mashed with Olivia Rodrigo's "Brutal". Thank you Rep. Lewis for your many years of service AND your commitment to the people of this country!
