About this listen

Game originally broadcast on February 5, 2026 When we first set up this matchup, I swear we didn’t notice the similarities these movies had. Now, you might not think a Philadelphia boxing movie and a New Mexico vampire flick have much in common, but I beg to differ. Both movies were the sophomore feature film directing efforts of the associated directors. Both directors have made vampire films (Coogler: Sinners and Reeves: Let Me In) and did very well reviewed and financially successful comic book adaptions (Coogler: The Black Panther and Reeves: The Batman). Both directors are looking at huge franchises right now and have big decisions going right now (Coogler: Sinners and Reeves: The Batman).
