What really comes up when you hear the word desire? Passion, or guilt...Expansion, or sin?

This week, we are going virtual as Rachael and her family navigate the flu that seems to be taking everyone out this year. You will also get the joy of listening to us completely butcher our intro before dropping into a deeply honest and meaningful conversation.

We unpack the stories we have been taught about desire and how often wanting more becomes tangled with shame, fear, or playing small. Krystyn shares her recent experience as a non-Christian attending a four-day Christian life coaching workshop and what it revealed about growth, belief, and the wisdom that can be found when we stay open to perspectives different from our own.

Together, we explore desire as truth rather than greed or lust, setting and fulfilling goals, and the belief behind them. Are they coming from the false self and ego, or from your truest self? Krystyn rewrites a long-held internal story, releasing the belief that there is no space for her to shine and choosing instead to embody love and support for herself as she steps into a new version of who she is becoming.

We talk about self-care, the self, and the difference between caring for yourself and being selfish. We dive into energy protection, growth, softening instead of hardening through our experiences, and taking accountability for the energy leaks we create ourselves.

This episode is an invitation to stop blaming yourself or avoiding yourself and to begin meeting yourself with honesty and compassion. We leave you with simple, but not easy, practices and a reminder that you are loved and supported as you step into your truest self.
