  • Wedding Dress Designer Hayley Paige & My Planner Spill the Biggest Truths About Bridal Fashion
    Feb 11 2026
Wedding dress designer Hayley Paige (of recent Super Bowl fame!) and luxury wedding planner Julia Noelle Ferrigno join Dinner for Shoes host Sarah Wasilak for an unfiltered conversation about the modern wedding industry through the lens of fashion, power, and self-expression.We kick things off with Hayley’s viral CNN moment imagining Taylor Swift’s wedding dress, unpacking what celebrity weddings really teach brides about symbolism versus spectacle. From there, the conversation dives deep into how today’s brides are breaking free from tradition.Hayley opens up about fighting to reclaim the rights to her own name, how that experience led to founding A Girl You Might Know Foundation, and what brides (and creators) should understand about protecting creative identity in a corporate-driven industry. Together, Hayley and Julia share insider designer-planner tea, overlooked fashion details that can make or break a wedding day, and the emotional weight brides often place on The Dress.Plus: inclusivity in bridal (what’s real vs. performative), practical advice for brides planning far in advance, and rewriting outdated wedding “rules.”Whether you’re engaged, wedding-curious, or just obsessed with fashion and power dynamics behind the scenes, this episode goes far beyond the Pinterest version of bridal.THESE SHOESMargaux The Cluny SlingbackTHIS OUTFITShop my lookHouse Of Harlow 1960 x Revolve dressNina bagVintage earringsTHESE CHAPTERS00:00 INTRO02:10 THE OUTFIT BEHIND THE SHOES03:32 HAYLEY PAIGE AND JULIA FERRIGNO INTERVIEW46:34 WEDDING INDUSTRY TAKEAWAYSTHIS PRODUCTIONis created, written, hosted, and produced by Sarah Wasilak.is creative directed and executive produced by Megan Kai.is tech supervised by Nick.includes photos and videos in chronological order by Julia Ferrigno, Hayley Paige, She Is Cheval, A Girl You Might Know Foundation, and Sarah Wasilak.references A Girl You Might Know Foundation. is made with love.Dinner for Shoes is a podcast about style and identity, bridging the gap for anyone who has ever felt like fashion is an exclusive world. • Inside Cerofy: The Women Rethinking Sustainability in Fashion
    Jan 28 2026

This week, Dinner for Shoes goes on location, straight to the offices of Cerofy, an eco-design and certification platform helping fashion brands actually walk the walk when it comes to sustainability and CO₂ reduction.

I’m hanging out with Cerofy founder Corina Weikl, tattoo artist and sustainability entrepreneur (and the woman behind some of my tattoos), and Sydney Ellis, Cerofy’s Head of Sustainability & Product Strategy, to see what their real day-to-day looks like. We discuss how they help brands use data, AI, and smart design decisions to lower emissions, cut costs, and build real consumer trust without sacrificing creativity or style.

We talk fashion materials, sustainability myths, how tech is changing the industry right now, and what actually makes a difference when it comes to reducing CO₂ emissions (just in time for International Reducing CO₂ Emissions Day).

And yes, I showed up in a fully sustainable ‘fit for the occasion, with the shoe of the day being a pair of VIVAIA boots — made from recycled plastic water bottles — because the outfit always understands the assignment.

Come for the fashion, stay for the tech, and leave feeling smarter (and oddly optimistic) about where the industry is headed.

  • I Interviewed My Tattoo Artist While Getting Tattooed in NYC
    Jan 8 2026

This week on Dinner for Shoes, I’m taking you with me to finally get the running tattoo I’ve been thinking about for years. We’re at Uplift, my go-to tattoo studio in NYC, chatting, laughing, and talking through the meaning behind the piece while it’s actually happening.

I interview my tattoo artist Julia mid-session, covering everything from personal style to self-expression, identity, and why tattoos can be such emotional markers in our lives. After the tattoo is done, I break down how my outfit ties into the moment, as always.

To wrap things up, I go through all of my tattoos, count them, and share the stories behind each one — when I got them, why they mattered at the time, and how they reflect different chapters of my life.

If you’ve ever thought about getting a tattoo, love hearing the stories behind people’s ink, or just want a real, relaxed conversation about style and identity, this episode is for you.

  • Is Botox My Kind of Beauty?
    Dec 11 2025

Everyone around me seems to have a smooth forehead — but does that mean I should too?

Welcome back to Shoe Therapy, a Dinner for Shoes podcast miniseries that consists of real talk in really good shoes. In this episode, host Sarah Wasilak asks the question so many of us are quietly wrestling with: Is botox my kind of beauty? At 33, Sarah opens up about feeling the pressure to have a smooth forehead in a world (and algorithm) that seems to expect it. She shares her honest back-and-forth on booking — and delaying — her botox appointment, why self-expression feels like her truest form of beauty, and how timeless pieces, like her outfit and favorite jewelry, remind her that originality never goes out of style.

  • My Las Vegas Grand Prix Weekend: Fashion, Food & F1 Magic
    Dec 3 2025

I’m back from the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix, and this Dinner for Shoes episode is all about the style and food that shaped the entire weekend. I’m walking through each day — the outfits I packed, events with LEGO and T-Mobile, a Strip Circuit track tour, the Disney x F1 hub, Peloton morning at The Wynn, “The Wizard of Oz” at the Sphere, and even stepping inside the Williams garage. I’m also sharing every memorable meal, from Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen and Carbone Riviera to the roasted potatoes from Wolfgang Puck that I can’t stop thinking about (and had to recreate for today’s “dinner”). If you’re curious what an F1 weekend really looks like through a fashion-and-food lens, here’s my full Vegas recap.

  • Fashion x AI: What’s Really Coming Next (With Whering’s Tracy Guarino)
    Nov 26 2025
On this episode of Dinner for Shoes, I sit down with fashion-tech powerhouse Tracy Guarino, president of the wardrobe-tracking app Whering. Think of it as your IRL version of Cher’s “Clueless” closet, redesigned for the 21st-century with sustainability at the forefront. We dig into whether AI can really have “taste,” how major brands like Gucci, H&M, and Nike are quietly transforming their creative process with AI data, and why innovation in fashion isn’t about replacing humans — it’s about elevating human creativity. Fashion, identity, tech, and sustainability all collide here. Of course, I also try Tracy’s go-to meal (an algorithmically perfect risotto) while we talk wardrobes and algorithms, and Trish and Kit sniff around out of curiosity.THIS DINNERWild mushroom risotto from The Franklin in Jersey City, NJTHESE SHOESChanel Goatskin & Grosgrain Beige & Black SlingbacksTHIS OUTFITShop my lookCleobella jacketRumored topRŌARI jeansJenny Bird earringsTHESE CHAPTERS00:00 INTRO05:02 THE OUTFIT BEHIND THE SHOES07:30 WHERING FASHION APP10:17 CAN AI HAVE TASTE?13:20 HOW CAN AI HELP FASHION?19:55 HOW NIKE, H&M, & GUCCI USE AI25:45 THE FUTURE OF FASHION X AI28:40 THE ALGORITHM OF PERFECT RISOTTOTHIS PRODUCTIONis created, written, hosted, and produced by Sarah Wasilak.is creative directed and executive produced by Megan Kai.is tech supervised by Nick.includes photos and videos in chronological order by Tracy Guarino, Clueless/Paramount Pictures, Whering, Sarah Wasilak, Vogue Business, Nike, H&M, and KIVISENSE YouTube. references “Is Fashion Ready For the AI Bubble to Burst?” via Vogue Business; “How Nike Is Using AI to Transform Product Design, Customer Experience, and Operational Efficiency” via AIM Media House; “H&M Continues Its Exploration of Creativity With AI” via H&M Group; “Gucci’s AI-Driven Transformation of Luxury Fashion” via AIM Media House; and Gucci Equilibrium. is made with love.Dinner for Shoes is a podcast about style and identity, bridging the gap for anyone who has ever felt like fashion is an exclusive world. • The Search for My Fall 2026 Wedding Dress
    Oct 23 2025
New York Bridal Fashion Week just wrapped, and as a 2026 bride myself, I couldn’t resist diving into all the fall 2026 wedding dress trends. From the boutonniere bride and boho bell sleeves to bubble hems, cape veils, and the peplum comeback, I’m breaking down the standout looks from designers like Galia Lahav, Oscar de la Renta, Danielle Frankel, and Monique Lhuillier — and deciding which trends feel timeless . . . and which might not make it past the honeymoon.Plus, I share my own bride-to-be dilemma: do I dress for the moment or for forever? And since every Dinner for Shoes episode has a bite, I’m taste-testing a slice of apple pecan crumb cake from Yuki’s Bakery in Hoboken (because Nick and I won’t be doing a traditional wedding cake, so now’s my chance!). Trish even pops in for a sniff.Whether you’re planning your own wedding, manifesting one, or just love a good bridal trend report, this episode is your backstage pass to fall 2026 bridal fashion with a side of dessert.THIS DINNERApple cinnamon pecan coffee cake from Yuki’s Bakery in Hoboken, NJTHESE SHOESZara Faux Fur Sole Heeled SandalsTHIS OUTFITShop my lookGarage dressLovers and Friends jacketBaubleBar necklaceAstrid & Miyu jewelry setAgapée ring THESE CHAPTERS00:00 INTRO02:54 THE OUTFIT BEHIND THE SHOES06:38 WHAT I LOOK FOR IN A WEDDING DRESS12:44 FALL 2026 WEDDING DRESS TRENDS29:49 WEDDING CAKETHIS PRODUCTIONis created, written, hosted, and produced by Sarah Wasilak.is creative directed and executive produced by Megan Kai.is tech supervised by Nick.includes photos and videos in chronological order by Sarah Wasilak, Suess Moments Photography, Popsugar, Galia Lahav, HILÁ, Ines Di Santo, Markarian, Oscar de la Renta, Viktor&Rolf, Jenny Yoo, Danielle Frankel, Savannah Miller, Monique Lhuillier, Nadia Manjarrez, Elie Saab, CINQ, Honor, KYHA, and LEIN.references charity Brides For a Cause, photographer Miranda Suess, and florist Laura Collins. is made with love.Dinner for Shoes is a fashion podcast for people who love food, hosted by editor Sarah Wasilak.
