About this listen
A verse I love has been much on my mind: “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful” (Colossians 3:15 NKJV).
Today, I decided to once again dissect it - digging up the meaning of the Greek words. Each time I do this, I am fascinated and thrilled.
What is fascinating is the word “let” and the word “rule” – brabeúō – mean to arbitrate. According to Strong’s, it means you and I are to allow the Peace of God to be the Umpire in our life – the One who directs, governs, and exercises control over our heart.
