Part 1: Scott Knaffla, District Finance Chair who works as a financial advisor reviews a number of giving strategies. Much of the conversation focuses on giving strategies that reduce one's tax liability, such as giving appreciated shares of stock or giving directly from your individual retirement account. Of course, members should consult their accountant or financial advisor for specific advice regarding giving strategies that are best for them.
