I get a lot of my energy and inspiration from spending time with others, especially in the outdoors or exercising. I keep myself pretty busy, spending time with my beautiful girlfriend, our families, friends, working in a scale-up technology business, running with a local group who heavily focus on health & wellbeing and finally helping some mates build an adventure apparel business called Trail Dogs AU. I'm pretty introspective and despite being a good listener, I need to work on talking about my own challenges to others"

Denis Kelly is the co-owner and head BJJ/MMA coach at Australian Combat Sports Academy (ACSA). He has been training and coaching for over well over 20 years now.

Denis is one of the most experienced MMA coaches in Australia, having produced multiple BJJ and MMA state, and national champions, and fighters who have competed on the international stage. 

He is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) Blackbelt under Carlson Gracie Jnr and won the IKBF MMA state title in his retirement fight.

As well as his BJJ Blackbelt, Denis also hold black belts in:

- Zen Do Kai
- Judo
- BJMA Progressive Krav Maga

Alongside his coaching and training at ACSA, Denis is the Co-Founder and Co-Promoter of the Bushido MMA Fight Series
