Dr. Judith Joseph brings an unparalleled wealth of expertise, with a distinguished educational background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry, Cum laude from Duke University. She earned her Medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and holds a Business degree from Columbia Business School. Dr. Judith completed her Adult psychiatry residency at Columbia University, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Furthermore, she pursued a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Child Study Center at NYU Langone Medical Hospital and Bellevue Hospital.


As the Chairwoman of the Women in Medicine Board at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Judith remains committed to advancing mental health treatments that are inclusive of diverse backgrounds and beliefs.


With a thriving social media community and numerous appearances on esteemed platforms, including panels with Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Judith Joseph is dedicated to making mental health accessible to all. Recently, she received a prestigious Proclamation award from the US Congress in recognition of her outstanding contributions to mental health work.

    Catherine Birndorf, MD, is a Reproductive Psychiatrist, the Co-Founder, CEO, and Medical Director of The Motherhood Center of New York. Dr. Birndorf is the Founding Director of the Payne Whitney Women’s Program at Weill Cornell Medicine – New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

    In addition, she is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynecology. A graduate of Smith College, Dr. Birndorf attended Brown University Medical School and did her Psychiatry Residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. A past Postpartum Support International board member, Dr. Birndorf now serves on the President’s Advisory Council. For ten years, Dr. Birndorf was a regular mental health columnist for Self Magazine and has appeared on numerous television programs, including The Today
    Show, Good Morning America, MSNBC, and CNN. Dr. Birndorf recently consulted on a special postpartum episode of Law & Order. Dr. Birndorf’s first book, The Nine Rooms of Happiness, was an NYTimes bestseller published in 2010. Her most recent book, published by Simon &
    Schuster in 2019, is entitled What No One Tells You: A Guide to Your Emotions from Pregnancyto Motherhood.

She specializes in Reproductive Psychiatry and is the Director of the Women's Mental Health Program at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Hermann is an internationally recognized expert in conditions such as postpartum depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and mental health struggles associated with menopause. She is known for her integrative, collaborative, and culturally competent approach to patient care.

    Beyond caring for patients, Dr. Hermann has devoted much of her career to advocating for women who struggle with mental health conditions associated with a reproductive life transition, and for teaching other medical professionals how to provide top-notch care for these illnesses.

    For her research, Dr. Hermann has focused on developing digital technologies to improve women's mental healthcare and articulating ethical frameworks for the safe and appropriate use of these technologies. Dr. Hermann lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and son. When not at work, she enjoys gardening and cheering on her son while he plays soccer.
