About this listen

Welcome to the Drumwell Podcast, where we look at what drummers do away from the kit, in order to do their best behind the kit. We discuss topics such as diet and exercise, warm up, cool down and practice routines, injuries (drum related or those which affect drumming abilities) and how to overcome them, as well as top tips for longevity.

"After a recent back issue which at one stage was starting to have an impact on my playing, I went the route of seeking professionals to fix the problem rather than just treating the symptoms. This ongoing process has led to several interesting conversations with my drumming friends and peers about various issues they've faced and how they navigate them. So I figured I would press record on these conversations to share with others out there who may find this interesting!"
