鈴鹿といえば「サーキット」。ホンダの創業者・本田宗一郎さんがお作りになったものですね。サーキットにはホテルがあって、そこにある「サーキットオベージュ」というレストランでは、サーキットならではのお料理があるんだそうです。そして、今年は午年。サーキットでもお馴染みのイタリアの自動車メーカー「フェラーリ」のエンブレムは「カヴァリーノ・ランパンテ」と呼ばれ、イタリア語で「跳ね馬」を指しています。力強く元気に誰にも負けない世界で一番になるんだと言って車を作ったのがフェラーリなんですね。そのフェラーリの本社がある・イタリアのモデナ市に、「リストランテ・カヴァリーノ」というレストランがあります。
