Sam Kelly is the author of “Human History on Drugs.” Sam is on the autismspectrum. When he’s interested in something, he really digs into it. He spendshours every day looking stuff up, going on tangents, and uncovering every laststubborn detail.

He studied history at Stanford University. Then, determined to share his love of bizarre little-known historical factswith others, he started a TikTok, where he tells true stories of famoushistorical figures who used drugs – and how it impacted their lives.
