As a learning scientist, Sonia studies how children learn through the research lenses of Learning Sciences, Early Childhood Education, and Human-Computer Interaction. She tries to understand how children learn in informal environments using educational media and maker activities and uses these insights to inform the design of creative learning environments for the future. Ultimately, within these environments, her goal is to design delightful learning experiences using elements such as toys, games, websites, mobile applications, narrative media, and maker activities.

Ioana Mischie is a Romanian-born transmedia artist (screenwriter/director) and transmedia futurist, awarded for film, virtual reality, and innovative concept. Ioana is also the Co-founder and Head of Storyscapes, an NGO focusing on transmedia storytelling and expanded narratives initiated in 2012. In between 2015 and 2020 collaborated as an arts-based research collaborator of CINETic, an Eastern European center focusing on the interaction between neuroscience and groundbreaking audio-visual paths. Starting with 2020, the protagonist of this bio took a leap of faith to design a fresh transmedia initiative conceived as a transdisciplinary, trans-generational and trans-real hub.

 In Romania, she activates as well as a transmedia futurist for audio-visual and educational entities. While, in love with sharing good practices and collaborative learning, Ioana is teaching digital media arts, virtual reality, digital storytelling classes at both UNATC and UBB.

A writer and children’s rights advocate, Anne Collier is the founder and executive director of The Net Safety Collaborative, a US-based NGO helping with the development of research-based, youth-driven education about digital safety and citizenship in many countries. She has been writing about online youth since 1999 and has served on three national task forces on youth online safety, having co-chaired the 2009-10 Online Safety & Technology Working Group at the Obama administration’s Commerce Department. She serves on the Trust & Safety advisories of Meta, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube and Yubo, on the Board of Directors of the National Association for Media Literacy Education in the US and on the international advisories of the Young & Resilient Research Center in Sydney and Project Rockit in Melbourne. She has contributed to a number of books and publications, most recently a treatise of the International Association of Privacy Professionals being released this spring and Bullying: Perspectives, Practice and Insights  (Council of Europe, 2017).

Sir Clive Woodward is an English former rugby union player and coach. He was coach of the England team from 1997 to 2004, managing them to victory in the 2003 Rugby World Cup. His first club was Harlequins, which he left to attend Loughborough University where he gained a Bachelor of Science degree in sports science, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). He then played as a centre for Leicester and in 1990 started his own IT leasing company, also becoming the coach of the then-obscure Henley, who was promoted to the national leagues. When Jack Rowell retired as coach of the England team in 1997, Woodward acquired the job. He had the job of transforming the England side from the amateur era into the professional one. England steadily improved under Woodward and entered the 2003 Rugby World Cup as betting favourites and the number one ranked team in the world. They remain the only team from the Northern Hemisphere to have won the World Cup. Between 2006 and 2021 Woodward returned to sport as the new director of elite performance for the British Olympic Association, acting as deputy Chef de Mission during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2012 London Olympics.

Prof. Bob Stone is a Human Factors specialist and a 35-year “veteran” of the international Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality community, having experienced the original NASA “VIEW” VR system in 1987 during a European Space Agency-funded study series on space telerobotics.  In 1993, whilst researching VR and robotics at the UK’s National Advanced Robotics Centre, Bob established the world’s first industrial VR team, launching a countrywide collaborative VR initiative, wholly funded by industry. Bob’s research has taken him from Royal Navy vessels conducting close-range weapons and missile trials to underwater operations onboard submarines and rescue submersibles; and from search-and-rescue helicopter missions to operating theatres and medical units throughout the UK, US and South Africa.  Today, as well as being an Emeritus Professor at the University of Birmingham, Bob works closely with the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine and various UK hospitals, researching the use of VR and MR for physical and mental health restoration and rehabilitation, and for the training of future military Medical Emergency Response Teams. He also has a passion for the Virtual Heritage arena, exploiting VR and AR to help make invisible rural and oceanic historic sites visible once again.
