  • Episode 17: In's and Out's for 2026
    Feb 1 2026

In this episode of the Empower House Podcast, I’m setting the tone for 2026 by getting really clear on what we’re leaving behind — and what we’re consciously choosing to take with us into the year ahead.

This isn’t about trends or performative goal setting. It’s about maturity, clarity, and building businesses (and lives) that actually support us. I’m sharing my personal 2026 in’s and out’s — from hustle culture, overcomplication, and people-pleasing, to purpose-led work, boundaries, financial literacy, and strategic growth.

If 2025 felt heavy, chaotic, or like you were doing “all the things” without the payoff, this episode is your permission slip to simplify, recommit, and lead differently in 2026.

What I cover in this episode:

    What’s out for 2026:

    • Hustle culture and burnout as a badge of honour.

    • Using every tool and subscription instead of what actually works.

    • Feeling alone in business.

    • Saying yes when we really mean no.

    • Being available 24/7.

    • Undercharging and overdelivering.

    • Worrying about what other people think.

    • Waiting for permission or approval.

    • Playing it safe.

    • “90-day millionaire” and get-rich-quick promises.

    • Going with the flow instead of having a plan or structure.

    • Competition that actively hinders others.

    • The “I’m bad at maths so I’m bad at money” narrative.

    • “I don’t have time” as a default excuse.

    • “I wish I could…” energy instead of action.

    • Using AI unchecked and losing our brand voice to generic output.

    What’s in for 2026:

    • Working with purpose and intention.

    • Simplified tech that actually supports scale.

    • No-pressure networking that genuinely fills our cup.

    • Boundaries that say yes to us first.

    • Clear work time and real rest time.

    • Charging — and knowing — our worth.

    • Shining unapologetically and putting ourselves out there.

    • Backing ourselves fully.

    • Going all in on our dreams.

    • Legacy building through 12 months of focused dedication to one idea.

    • Strong foundations, big-picture goals, and weekly KPIs.

    • Collaboration and being genuinely helpful.

    • Financial literacy and confidence with money.

    • Scheduling our real priorities.

    • Strategic, intentional launches.

    • Educated, thoughtful use of AI as a tool — not a replacement for our voice.

This episode is an invitation to choose clarity over chaos, intention over noise, and long-term sustainability over short-term wins. 2026 doesn’t need to be louder — it needs to be cleaner, calmer, and more aligned.

If this episode resonates with you, I’d love to hear what you’re leaving behind — and what you’re committing to for 2026. Come and connect with me on Instagram @empower.house and let’s set the tone together.

  • Episode 16: 2016 to 2026 - Then VS Now
    Jan 25 2026

In this episode of the Empower House Podcast, I’m reflecting on the last decade of my life and business — not just the wins, but the full story of what it’s taken to get here.

I take you back to the launch of Empower House in 2016 and walk you through the evolution of the business over the past ten years. From digital products, events, retreats, and awards, to the personal and professional challenges that shaped me along the way, this episode is about growth, resilience, and perspective.

I share what I’ve survived, what I’ve learned the hard way, and why boundaries, sustainability, and alignment matter so much more to me now than hustle or appearances ever did. This is a candid look at what happens when you stay in the game long enough for the lessons to compound.

If you’re reflecting on your own “then vs now” season — in business or life — this episode is for you.

What you’ll learn in this episode:

    • How Empower House has evolved since launching in 2016.

    • The milestones and achievements I’m proud of across the last decade.

    • The personal and professional challenges that shaped my leadership.

    • Why boundaries, pricing, and choosing the right clients matter.

    • The difference between looking successful and building real wealth.

    • How sustainability became my priority after burnout.

    • Why community and impact remain at the heart of my work.

    Milestones I reflect on:

    • Launching Empower House in August 2016.

    • Completing a Certificate IV in Business Management through the NEIS program.

    • Volunteering to teach social media marketing at NEIS as a full-circle moment.

    • Creating and launching multiple digital products and programs.

    • Hosting events, retreats, and International Women’s Day charity fundraisers.

    • Teaching business education within women’s refuges.

    • Winning Business Woman of the Year and an international award for innovation.

    • Hosting a business retreat in Morocco.

Challenges I survived along the way:

    • Skin cancer and melanoma.

    • Domestic violence and a very public court case.

    • Poor investments, stolen IP, and difficult client experiences.

    • Burnout, over-delivering, undercharging, and weak boundaries.

    • COVID and navigating business through uncertainty.

Ten years on, my life and business look very different. I’m a twin mum, working with clients I genuinely enjoy, building sustainable systems, and focusing on long-term impact rather than short-term wins. I’m proud of the growth, the lessons, and the version of myself who said yes before she had proof.

If this episode resonates and you’re reflecting on your own journey, I’d love to hear from you. Come and connect with me on Instagram @empower.house and tell me what you’re proud of surviving — and what you’re excited to build next.

  • Episode 15: Being busy is a systems problem (not a personal one)
    Jan 18 2026

In this episode of the Empower House Podcast, I’m talking about something I see constantly with business owners — feeling busy, overwhelmed, and buried under never-ending to-do lists.

Here’s the truth: most of the time, being “busy” isn’t a motivation problem or a discipline problem. It’s a systems problem.

I break down why overwhelm usually points to structural issues in your business, not personal failure, and how simplifying, automating, and systemising the right areas can completely change how your business feels day to day. From finances and sales to pre-qualifying clients and using AI effectively, this episode will help you shift from constant busyness to intentional productivity.

If you’re working hard but still feel like you’re spinning your wheels, this episode will help you pinpoint where things are breaking down — and what to fix first.

What you’ll learn in this episode:

    • Why feeling busy is often a systems issue, not a mindset issue.

    • The difference between being busy and being productive.

    • How poor systems lead to burnout, long to-do lists, and lost energy.

    • Why bookkeeping automation is non-negotiable for business owners.

    • How to create a sales system that works even while you’re sleeping.

    • The importance of pre-qualifying clients to protect your time and energy.

    • How automation and AI can support a more scalable business.

    • Where to simplify, delegate, and systemise to reduce overwhelm.

If this episode resonates and you’re ready to stop wearing busyness like a badge of honour, I’d love to hear from you. Come and connect with me on Instagram @empower.house and tell me which system you’re fixing first.
