About this listen
On this the year 2024, June 1st (in Taiwan, dates are written year-month-day), I'm commemorating my self-appointed 24601 day by accomplishing my first ever read through Les Misérables and with this episode on our favorite convict #24601.
In this episode, novel prospectives and novelties include: terms that don't translate from French into English, honorifics, "we" with you versus "we" without you, differences in the musical adaptation, Waterloo teeth, 8964, and my favorite musical that I haven't seen.
Question of the day: If you speak a language that has terms that don't translate to English (like vous versus tu) please share them with me! Let me know in the post for this episode on Instagram or in a review.
*SPOILERS* You have been warned ;) New episodes every other Saturday. Follow me on Instagram @noveltome
