Rocío Cerón is one of the major Mexican poets and multimedia artists of her generation. She combines poetry with music, performance and video. We hear excerpts from Rocio Ceróns sound poetry album “Sonic Bubbles”. She will read from her poetry collections Diorama, Nudo Vortex and Tiento, all of which are also available in German translation. We talk about the poetry of the “in-between”, the voice of inanimate objects, about bodies and memory, about migration and the possibility of reinvention. And we talk about the current Mexican literary and art scene.
