• Introduction
  • The foundation on how to approach the book of Revelation.
    • What scripture shouts we shout, what scripture whispers we whisper, and where scripture is silent, we are silent.
    • This book is the revelation of Jesus Christ first and foremost and that must be the gage in which we filter all passages through.
    • This book is to show servants or Jesus Christ what shortly must take place.
    • The book is broken up into 4 parts.
      • John’s commissioning ch. 1
      • The seven letters to the seven churches ch.2&3
      • The Throne room ch.4&5
      • The transition from the great tribulation to the age to come ch.6-22
    • The book of Revelation is given in sequential and parenthetical style.
      • The five sections or ways of judgement that come on the earth.
        • Sequentially THE SEAL JUDGEMENTS ch.6
          • Parenthetically THE PROTECTION OF THE ELECT REMNANT OF ISAEAL AND THE PARELLED MYRTED CHURCH. Ch.7
        • Sequentially THE TRUMPET JUDGEMENTS ch.8-9

• The beginning and the end
  • Revelation 1:1-3
    • Verse 1 What the book is about, first and foremost Jesus Christ, second the things that are going to take place.
    • Verse 2 The author of the book, the beloved Apostle John
    • Verse 3 The blessing for reading, hearing and keeping
      • Taking the time to engage in the book, understand the book, and obey the book.
    • Revelation 22:18&19
      • Verse 18 if we add any of our own narratives without a scriptural foundation, we are subject to the plagues in the book.
      • Verse 19 If we take away any of the truths in this book, we are subject to our names being taken away from the book of life.
    • This should be a sobering reality that forces us to read and engage in this book humbly, relying on prayer and fasting to hear from GOD on the truths and not relying on the teachers or the commentaries, including my teachings. We must allow the scriptures and our prayer life to dictate our understanding of the end of the age because our salvation itself is on the line.
