John grew up in Houston, Texas where he played baseball at Lamar High School and Rice University. After college, John played a few seasons with the Chicago Cubs organization as a Left Handed Pitcher. While John tackled a successful career on the diamond, he also has had success in the studio as a rap artist, music producer and a songwriter.
