(3) IT (Most Creative Billing)
A Massachusetts lawyer was suspended for one year and a day for obtaining reimbursement from both his law firm and a CLE sponsor for the same $1,952.85 he spent on wine for a post-conference cocktail reception.
(4) JOHN Q (Best Original Excuse)
A New York lawyer was suspended for six months for lying about the status of a matter to her superiors within the law firm. A serious medical condition made her extremely fearful of losing the health insurance provided by her employer.
