About this listen
This is part two of Brad Weesner’s conversation with Doug Smith. Here is where things get even more compelling. He will continue his amazing story and reveal insights as his life continues — his humility, growing compassion, his self-reflection really become more impressive and take us to where he is today.
For the last thirty-five years, Doug Smith has been training healthcare workers on how to work with the dying and grieving. He has done seminars in all fifty states and all the provinces in Canada. He has also taught a grief counseling certificate program at both the University of Wisconsin and Northern Michigan University, which, in addition to training people through the U.S. has also trained workers in sixteen countries. Doug also has had great personal experience in working with the dying having lost his youngest brother and two daughters.
