She encountered a series of obstacles; a diagnosis of endometriosis, low ovarian reserve, a previous surgical injury to one of her Fallopian tubes, unsuccessful transfers, a miscarriage, and an additional surgery, on her path to becoming a mother, finally conceiving her daughter Hazel.
