He's been nominated for a plethora of additional CCMA Awards including Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. He was the 2017 Male Artist of the Year and Fans' Choice Award winner at the Alberta Country Music Association Awards. Bobby joins us from Calgary to talk about a career that started on a dare, growing up as an adopted kid, discovering a rich musical heritage with a biological family he never knew, and writing with his hero, Walt Aldridge.
