    To mark World Press Freedom Day for 2026, the European Broadcasting Union brought together reporters, NGO workers, security experts and others for a conference in Geneva.

    Palestinian journalists described the challenges they face on a daily basis, including covering war when your family is also at risk.

    In the final episode of Season 2, we also hear about how the United Nations is trying to “humanise” the “statistics of human suffering” in relation to Gaza and other crises around the world.

    According to the International Federation of Journalists, more than 260 journalists and media workers have been killed in the enclave since the start of the war in Gaza in 2023.
