This episode was recorded in February of 2025, before Patrick A. Heringer was murdered.
It was meant to be the first episode of Season Two of Extraordinary Animals.

The guest is Justin Hall. Justin is a musician, a firefighter, a paramedic, a loving husband and father, and Patrick’s longest friend. They grew up together. This conversation isn’t an interview in the traditional sense. It’s two really good friends sitting down and talking honestly.

They talk about how Justin makes music, what he’s seen as a firefighter and paramedic, and what it means to carry the weight of real life while still creating something beautiful. Like Justin says at the beginning, this is raw and unedited. Nothing is cleaned up. Nothing is performed.

There are real gems in here. Moments of depth, humor, truth, and connection.
I hope you hear them the way Patrick intended.

And I hope you like it as much as I do.
