He sits on the British Society of Gastroenterology council, the English Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Advisory committee, was chair of the Joint Advisory Group for GI Endoscopy, and founded the National Endoscopy Database. Dr. Harriet Gordon is a consultant gastroenterology in Winchester and the BSG president elect.
