About this listen

Welcome to the Faithful Family Podcast, a ministry of Hope for the Home, supported by listeners like you. Jason, a marriage and family counselor, and Natalie, a homeschooling mother of 11, will be sharing on topics about family, the wisdom they have learned in their own marriage, setting a culture of joy and peace within the walls of your home, training and educating children, how to heal after a broken relationship, personal testimonies on how God can use trauma, how to forgive and live in freedom, loving your family well, resources, and so much more. Jason has his masters in counseling and is a board certified marriage and family therapist. His desire is to see couples and families thrive, and grow in their relationship with Christ. Jesus will always be central to each conversation. Natalie is a mother of eleven children who has homeschooled more than 25 years. She opens up her home in hospitality to several guests each week, and also creates an environment in her home for couples and families that need counsel. Her greatest joy is being a wife and mother. She feels confident that God gave her a very safe adult life so that she can relate to those who struggle with broken relationships, and the more difficult things of life. She shares more about that on their website. You can find that link here: https://hopeforthehomeministry.org/about/natalies-testimony/

In a world where families are under attack, protection if of the utmost importance. As fathers and mothers we are the gatekeepers of our home. We are the first (and sometimes last!) line of defense. But what does that look like? How do we provide a balanced approach to help our children develop resilience and, at the same time, protecting them from the dangers or the world. Jason and Natalie discuss this very issue and explore specific examples of how families can protect their home physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
