Heaven and Hellvis: When Sabbath Met the King

What happens when the doom-laden riffs of Black Sabbath collide with the swagger, croon, and hips of Elvis Presley?

This week on Fake It Out Loud, Sarah is joined by Heaven and Hellvis.

Blending Sabbath’s thunderous, doom-heavy foundations with Elvis-style vocals and unmistakable stage presence, Heaven and Hellvis have carved out one of the most original tribute concepts on the UK scene. In this episode, we dig into how the idea was born, how audiences react when they hear Sabbath through an Elvis lens, and the musical tightrope they walk to make something this unexpected actually work.

    We talk:

    • Where the Heaven and Hellvis concept came from
    • Balancing reverence with reinvention
    • Audience reactions, from confusion to conversion
    • Life on the road and behind the scenes

  • Season 2. Episode 1 Reanimating a Legacy — An Interview with REANiMATION
    Jan 9 2026

    Send us a text

Season 2 of Fake It Out Loud kicks off with a powerful and deeply personal episode.

This week, Sarah is joined by REANiMATION, a brand-new UK tribute to Linkin Park, a band whose music defined a generation and continues to mean everything to millions of fans around the world.

Formed less than a year ago through a mix of chance encounters, online ads, and musical instinct, REANiMATION have gone from complete strangers to a tight-knit band preparing for their very first shows. But this isn’t a note-for-note tribute. Their focus is on energy, emotion, and impact and channelling the raw power of Hybrid Theory and Meteora, reworking iconic live arrangements, revisiting remixes, and even embracing Linkin Park’s most recent chapter.

This episode also carries special meaning. Linkin Park were Sarah’s son’s favourite band. He was an exceptional musician, and this conversation — and this season opener — is dedicated to him.

    In this episode they discuss:

    • What authenticity really means when you’re honouring a band like Linkin Park
    • Taking on a legacy that fans hold incredibly close
    • Starting a tribute band from scratch — nerves, chemistry, and first-show pressure
    • The UK tribute scene and where REANiMATION see themselves within it
    • And the debut of a brand-new segment for Season 2: Vocal Combat
