  • Is Broos On His Way Out?
    Mar 28 2024
Bafana Bafana has come a long way since Hugo Broos took over in 2021. Many were concerned about his management style, but he has revolutionised the way the National team plays. The team plays with passion and grit and ultimately, they are more committed than ever. Broos has collected some impressive results, with none more special than the bronze medal at the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

In recent weeks, Broos has been the subject of rumours stating he's leaving the National team to take up a job with Club Brugge in his home country, Belgium. SAFA and Broos have denied these rumours, however, Mzansi is worried given how much he has done for Bafana.

All teams go through their dominant eras, however, locally and internationally, Kaizer Chiefs and Manchester United have had the hardest falls from grace, having both been dominant forces for decades, only to now be classified as mid-table teams. Supporters are the lifeblood of clubs, but many seem to walk away when their teams are underperforming. Surely when your team is in a rut, support means more to them? Supporters need to stand by their cubs and support them through thick and thin!

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi reacts to rumours circulating about Hugo Broos Leaving Bafana Bafana. The fans speak about supporting big clubs such as Kaizer Chiefs and Manchester United during tough times. SL Radio on SoccerLaduma.co.za

  • "Chiefs Must Go Back To The Drawing Board!”
    Mar 14 2024
The Soweto Derby, in recent years, has truly been dominated by Orlando Pirates, with Kaizer Chiefs struggling to gain ownership of the bragging rights the fixture has to offer. The Bucs seem to constantly have the edge over their noisy neighbours and quite frankly, it seems as though the Amakhosi faithful have finally had enough of their performances against their arch-rivals.

The latest edition of this fixture, was not short of goals and excitement, having been a 5-goal thriller, with two braces - one from each team. But ultimately, it was the Buccaneers who were victorious having won 3-2 thanks to goals by Monnapule Saleng and Thabiso Lebtiso.

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Khosi nation have expressed their disappointment with their Kaizer Chiefs’ performance and have questioned the stature of the coaching staff, firing shots at head coach, Cavin Johnson. SL Radio on SoccerLaduma.co.za

  • Has The Soweto Derby Lost Its Value?
    Mar 6 2024
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will lock horns once again, on Saturday 9 March at the FNB Stadium. In recent matchups, it has been the Buccaneers who have accumulated the points, and of course the bragging rights. Amakhosi will be hoping to avoid another goal drought and build on their recent win over Golden Arrows.

In recent years, both Chiefs and Pirates have produced underwhelming performances in all competitions, and it appears as though Mzansi no longer consider these teams 'big clubs,' as this transpired into the loss of value and importance which has also been the Soweto Derby?

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi debates whether or not the Soweto Derby is still an important fixture or one of a standard DStv Premiership fixture. SL Radio on SoccerLaduma.co.za
