  • TWO VIRAL BRAZILIAN BRANDS. EVEN JULIA ROBERTS WEARS THEM! #12
    Oct 23 2025

Brazilian design is taking center stage. From the streets of Paris Fashion Week to Julia Roberts and Emma Stone on the red carpet in Venice, two brands are redefining the meaning of Made in Brazil.

In this episode of Fashion Label Brazil, we talk to Gisela and Gustavo Assis, founders of LAPIMA. Born in Campinas, São Paulo, the brand creates sculptural eyewear handcrafted by 25 women artisans: timeless pieces that blend art, architecture, and elegance. Now sold in more than 400 stores worldwide, LAPIMA has become a favorite among chic celebrities.

Brazil is also where some of the world’s most exquisite shoes are made. We talk with Simone Nunes, founder of ROOM, the brand that brought softness and sensuality to footwear and went viral with its iconic Pillow Sandals - those puffy, dreamlike straps that became an international success. ROOM has great designs and embodies slow fashion and local craftsmanship at its finest.

Discover these two brands and how Brazilian creativity is shaping the future of luxury.

  • RESORTWEAR REINVENTED: MADE IN BRAZIL AT CABANA SHOW #10
    May 27 2025

In our 10th episode, we shine a spotlight on four brazilian brands preparing to showcase their Summer 2026 collections at Cabana Show Miami.

Representing Brazil's creative diversity, our host Ale Farah talks to two labels from São Paulo, one from Rio de Janeiro, and one from Minas Gerais - bringing a vibrant mix of accessories, resortwear, knitwear, and swimwear.

Each brand offers a distinct voice and a fresh vision blending innovation, sustainability, and strong cultural identity into collections that go beyond fashion.

We start with Yukio, a sophisticated resortwear brand from São Paulo. With sensual tailoring and modern elegance, its pieces are a tribute to brazilian femininity and confidence.

Next is La Sirène, a swim and resortwear label that celebrates the female form with bold silhouettes and emotive storytelling.

From Rio, we have WaiWai, known for its playful, surreal, and tropical accessories - all handcrafted in Brazil. Their new collection explores vibrant contrasts and surreal designs.

We close the episode with the unmistakably brazilian Cecilia Prado. From the mountains of Minas Gerais, the brand produces hand-tech knitwear that merges cutting-edge technology with artisanal tradition.

Fashion Label Brasil Podcast is brought to you by ABEST (The Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
