  • 12. Fantasy Turned Murder: New Zealand's Heavenly Creatures
    Mar 20 2021

The cold-blooded killing of Honorah Parker Rieper is commonly known as the most infamous murder in New Zealand's history. Katie and Azra cover the case and the twisted fantasy world that Pauline and Juliet, the 15-year-old best friends who were responsible for the murder, would do anything to save. They also discuss the blatant homophobia of the media surrounding the case, the hysteria it led to, and the serious repercussions it had for LGBTQ+ people in New Zealand.
