In this powerful and heartfelt episode of the Fearless Queens Podcast, we sit down with Annika Pieters for an honest conversation about faith, identity, and growing up in the church as a preacher’s daughter.

Annika shares who she is today and who she was as a young child, opening up about her journey of faith—often referred to as her Jesus story. She reflects on the unique challenges and blessings of growing up in church culture, navigating expectations, and learning how to make her faith her own.

Together, we talk about what it truly means to let God be the Father of His House, releasing control, pressure, and performance, and trusting Him to lead, guide, and nurture His people. Annika reminds us that God is not just present in the church—but actively parenting, protecting, and shepherding His children.

She also shares her life verse, Psalm 23, and how its promises of peace, guidance, and provision have anchored her through every season of life.

To close, Annika answers a deeply reflective question:
If she could tell her younger self one thing she’s learned from growing up in the church, what would it be? Her answer is full of wisdom, grace, and encouragement for anyone who has wrestled with faith, identity, or expectations within church walls.

This episode is for anyone who:

    • Grew up in church or ministry
    • Has struggled with pressure, identity, or performance-based faith
    • Is learning to let God lead His House—and their heart
    • Needs the reminder that God is a good Father

    Scripture Highlighted:
    📖 Psalm 23

✨ Tune in and be encouraged as Annika’s story reminds us that God’s presence, love, and guidance never leave us—and that our faith journey is always personal, purposeful, and led by Him.

In this powerful episode of the Fearless Queens Podcast, we dive into what it truly means to build unshakable faith—faith that stands firm in trials, grows in the waiting, and trusts God beyond what feels possible.

Faith is not just something we talk about; it’s something we live out daily. Together, we explore how faith is strengthened through obedience, perseverance, and wholehearted trust in God—even when the road is hard or unclear.

    📖 Scriptures We Discussed:

    • Hebrews 11 – Faith as confident assurance in what we hope for and certainty in what we cannot see
    • James 1:2 – Choosing joy in trials because God is producing endurance in us
    • Luke 1:37 – Forgetting “impossible” because nothing is impossible with God
    • James 2:17 – Faith that is alive is faith that moves us to action
    • 1 Peter 4:12, 19 – Standing firm through suffering and entrusting our lives to a faithful Creator

    💡 Episode Themes:

    • What faith really looks like in everyday life
    • How trials refine and strengthen our faith
    • Moving beyond fear, doubt, and the word “impossible”
    • Living out faith through obedience and action
    • Forsake all and trust Him—fully and completely

    ✨ Key Takeaway:

Faith grows when we stop relying on our own understanding and start fully trusting God. When we release control and place our confidence in Him, we discover that He is always faithful—even in the fire.

    🙏 Call to Action:

What step of faith is God asking you to take today? Choose to trust Him, walk it out in obedience, and remember—your faith is being built for something greater.

🎧 Listen now and be encouraged to rise as a Fearless Queen, walking boldly by faith and not by sight.

  • 84: Verse of the Year
    Jan 2 2026

    Send us a text

Welcome back, Fearless Queens and Kings.
This space is for women and men who are growing, trusting, learning, and walking boldly with God—even when the path isn’t clear. I’m so grateful you’re here today.

Every year, we’ve had a tradition. We chose a Word of the Year—one word to focus on, pray over, and carry with us. And that practice has been powerful.

But this year… the Lord did something different.

Instead of giving us one word, He gave us three actions.

    Ask.
    Seek.
    Knock.

And today, we’re sharing why this our Bible verse of the year is going to lead us more scripturally sound and what it looks like for us as Fearless Queens.

As Fearless Queens, let this be our mindset:

    • When we don’t know what to do, we ask
    • When we feel lost, we seek
    • When the door feels closed, we knock again

    We don’t shrink back.
    We show up in faith.

Take a moment and ask yourself:

    • What do I need to ask God for this year?
    • What have I stopped seeking because I got tired?
    • What door have I been afraid to knock on again?

Write it down. Pray over it. Trust Him with it.
