Kvothe gets more time with Fela and Mola, and we get to see the ever lovely Ari again. Honestly any chapter with Ari is a great chapter. We also go through some hair brained theories I thought of but that's less important.

There's a lot to get into with these chapters. We finally get to see the "Cascading huge Goddamn fire." as Manet so eloquently put it. We get our first word of Denna's potential Patron, and we talk about some of the communities theories regarding him, and we finally learn the true meaning of Kote.

There's quite a bit of fuel for the fire that only a tin foil hat can truly harness. Strawberry wine is mentioned, Lorren never banning people from the archives is explored albeit briefly, and Kvothe might have won Denna all the way back when he first left for The University.

As I was going through my notes I was just reminded of how much I love these slower chapters, where we really get to see everything be calm and enjoyable. Oh how we are going to miss these times.

We get introduced to "Cascading huge god damn fire" as Manet put it. Honestly not a huge chapter, but there are still a few gems within it. Especially because we get to see Denna again.

Just kidding, but there is a lot to go over here. We might have found out first or second member of the Edema Ruh post the tragedy, we get another great scene on the horns, and we see how much of an jerk Loren really is.

Tonight we are going over Chapter 60: Fortune.

There was a whole bunch of set up in this chapter. We learn more about how admissions works. Further the Kvothe vs Ambrose feud, and Kilvin drops some wisdom on Kvothe, shame he will ignore all the good advice he ever gets.

Tonight we are going over Chapter 57: Interlude - The Parts that Form Us, Chapter 58: Names for Beginning, and Chapter 59: All This Knowing.

We learn about Denna from someone that isn't Kvothe, even if his priorities are completely out of wack. Kvothe gains a new rival, albeit one side-idly. And we get what I would consider to be the close of Act 2.
