• THE BLUEPRINT TRAP: WHY YOUR PLAN IS ACTUALLY A CAGE
    Feb 28 2026

    Send a text

Complexity is often just a sophisticated way of procrastinating.

Most of us aren’t building a business; we’re building a shrine to someone else’s success. We use the templates and mimic the tone of creators years ahead of us, thinking it’s a bridge to freedom. It’s actually a cage made of "Stage 10" expectations.

Today, I’m sharing my "shattered face" moment—the two years I lost trying to scale complexity before I had mastered my craft. We’re talking about Identity Debt, the Mimicry Tax, and why the most expensive advice you can take is the kind that’s "free" but wrong for your stage.

    Inside this episode:

    • Why winning with someone else’s map is a life sentence.
    • The "Sovereign Audit": 3 questions to strip the weight.
    • The Stage 1 Manifesto: Our declaration of independence.

    In this episode.

Starting over isn’t hard because you’re weak—it’s hard because you’re carrying invisible weight you never learned how to put down.

If you’ve ever sat down to work and felt like you were trying to lift a house, you aren't lazy. You’re in Productivity Debt. You’re trying to start "Day 1" while still lugging around the guilt of the last six months.

In this episode, we’re filing for Productivity Bankruptcy. We explore why solo-builders face a unique mental load called The Soloist’s Tax and why "perfect" is often just procrastination in a suit. Using the story of a "strategic failure" in a college algebra class, I break down why choosing to do less isn’t quitting—it’s curating.

    Inside the Episode:

    • The Algebra Pivot: Why walking away from a goal is sometimes the only way to save the mission.
    • Productivity Debt: How to recognize when your "busy work" is actually a high-interest loan on your mental health.
    • The Soloist’s Tax: Why you can’t have a team-sized output with a one-person heart.
    • The 6-Step Recovery Protocol: A surgical framework to stop the overwhelm, find your "Lever," and build a win streak based on evidence, not motivation.

The Soloist Recovery Protocol (The Framework):

    1. The Triage: Finding your "Algebra Class" and stopping the bleed.
    2. The Soloist’s Lever: Identifying the one move that makes everything else easier.
    3. The MVW (Minimum Viable Win): Why "Done" beats "Perfect" every single time.
    4. The 20-Minute Sprint: Outrunning hesitation by guarding your only currency: Focus.
    5. The Evidence Log: Why your brain trusts proof over "to-do" lists.
    6. The CEO Debrief: Reclaiming your agency and clocking out as the boss.

Lets stop the spiral and start building again.

Ever feel a sting of envy watching someone else win, then hate yourself for it? That "dirty" energy is actually a map. In this episode, we’re ditching the self-shame and translating solo-builder frustration into Clean Action.

If you’re building with limited support, managing burnout, or tired of the "comparison trap," this episode provides a 5-step framework to reclaim your power and focus on your own lane.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:

    • The Solitude of the Mission: Re-framing the "loneliness" of being a solo creator into the price of original work.
    • The 5-Step Clean Action Framework: A repeatable system to decode uncomfortable emotions.
    • The 1:00 AM Audit: A live exercise to stop leaking energy to people who aren’t in your race.
    • Rebuilding Strategy: How to stay consistent when you lack a big team or budget.

    The 5-Step Framework Recap:

    1. Name it: Remove the judgment.
    2. Decode it: Find the hidden message.

  • When “Negative” Emotions Are the Only Thing Keeping You Going: The Utility of Spite as Unexpected Fuel
    Jan 17 2026

    Send us a text

Join me your host, Ebi Francis for another thoughtful conversation this week!

We’re told to stay positive and let go — but sometimes that’s not what gets us through.

In this episode, I explore the idea that some so-called “negative” emotions can actually serve a purpose. Specifically, we talk about spite — not as bitterness or harm, but as a quiet refusal to give up when motivation is gone.

This is an honest conversation about survival, burnout, self-doubt, and knowing when an emotion has done its job so you can move forward with clarity instead of shame.

In this episode, we explore two sides of real life—harsh and hopeful.
The first segment dives into the evolving landscape of insecurity in Nigeria, tackling the rise of ISWAP, the persistence of banditry, and what these threats mean for everyday people on the ground. It’s a clear, grounded look at a crisis many hear about but few truly understand.

Then we shift gears into a softer, personal moment: a short story about the unexpected joy, fear, and transformation that comes with becoming a grandmother. From global tension to intimate life changes, this episode reminds us that resilience lives everywhere—on the battlefield and in the family room.
