Three days after the children were safely found and returned to their parents, Jasna and Perun were sitting high above the crowd that had gathered for King Ulrich's speech....
Chapter 11: The Test
The next morning after breakfast, Eld and Elgar stood in front of Jasna's desk in her office. "I understand you have learned a lot about surviving in the forest," Jasna said looking at Elgar....

Elgar followed the group until two things stopped him. One, the forest was thinning, which told him that they were getting very close to the city. And two, he saw Perun and Jasna.... 

Chapter 9: Sound of the Horn 
Awake before the sun had risen, Elgar glanced at the sleeping children before leaving camp. He knew that if he was going to get them back home safely and pass the test Eld had put before him, he would have to start working quickly.... 

The sun was about ready to go to sleep by the time Elgar had finished getting the fire started. It had taken Elgar the better part of the day to find a good camp location.... 

Chapter 8: Searching
"Are we almost there?" Nesta asked as she sat down on a nearby rock. "I'm tired. We've been walking forever."....

Chapter 6: Our White Cousin 
Two days later, General Branimir turned over the postcard Jasna, the leader of the Black Eastern Chipmunk Squad, more commonly known as BECS, had written and mailed from the festival.... 
Chapter 7: On Their Own 
The next morning Elgar woke up to a beautiful display of the sun waking for the day.... 

Free at last from their chaperone, even if it was just for a few minutes, Rhys, Nesta, and Aderyn went toward the picnic tables and looked for somewhere to sit. ”There’s a table over there that’s empty,” Nesta said, craning her neck to get a better look at the area....
